Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has contributed to this site. Especially to our daughter Tanya who set it up. We were not really sure when she had the idea but we are ‘bowled over now’.
We are very proud to say Jamie was our son. We will always treasure the happy memories of the 18 years we all shared together. He was such a special person and our lives now seem empty and shattered without him. We cannot believe he has gone – it does not seem fair for him or us. He valued the right things in life, his family (especially his Grandparents), all his friends, and his artwork. He could always make us laugh and smile and he was not just our son but our friend as well. He had a heart of gold and was a friend to all. He was a rock when things were tough and every day he would walk our dogs Brackie, Meg and Molly with one of us. They adored him, Jamie for them meant walks, games and sneaky bits of food!
We have only realised since he has been gone the importance of his ‘Lost Angel’ name. He always hid the wings and it is only now he has gone that we realise we had an angel with us. Jamie was always true to himself and had a strong Christian faith, he was very proud of his country and all that was British. We can only go on because we know that Jamie is in heaven with his Granddad who he adored and looking over us. We trust in God to keep him safe and everyday we will pray that he is surrounded by love and at peace. We would do anything to see him again to hold him for one last time but we keep going knowing that one day we will meet together with our Lord and be a family once again.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, our one real regret is that Jamie will never see the wonderful guest book you have all created for him. It would have made him so happy and proud. Thank you all again
